lyrics:
i know how to go, i know how to come back, the night falls
these light go dark and the sun doesn´t [or won't] sleep
i am already yesterday, forgetting us
if lights would [or could] cure what hurt us
i know how to go, i know how to come back, at sunrise
we will be children again without fearing what it is
to dream about being happy
yesterday i found the dead, since i can´t find the sun
coming back home was the end, but the end isn´t an option
i'm dead
mmmm
[x4]
i don't know how to come back anymore, flat i saw the garden
my chest is very hot and i haven't learned how to die
i already am, i've already been, my soul is with you
it made itself the owner of some piece of my heart
what a horrible dream
(i see her, i dream her, i miss her) [1]
i carry your exhaustion
(i see you, i dream you, i miss you) [1]
yesterday i found the dead, since i can´t find the sun
coming back home was the end, but the end isn´t an option
yesterday i found the dead, since i can´t find the sun
being dead was the end, but the end isn´t an option
i'm not dead
mmmm
[x3]
notes:
- this verses are from the song Luciernagas from the second disk of this album, i find it very fascinating how he can interwine the songs together, even when they are not even remotely close to eachother. i noticed that the lyrics belonged to another song by the second or third time of listening to them but i could not for the life of me remember what song it was, it was very satisfying to listen to the full album again and realize this.
- this particular verse is interesting to see from two perspectives: the first one is the rather obvious one, it is the same as the one before it but cut off (from "no estoy muerto" to "no estoy-"); the second one however takes into account the difference between the verbs "ser" and "estar" (in english both are "to be"), i am NOT explaining that but just now that "no estoy" can also mean "i'm not here"
